Guinness harp

The Guinness harp symbol has undergone several incarnations since its first use in 1862, and DesignBridge’s most recent version aimed to move away from the flatness of previous versions.

New North Press were commissioned to translate this into beautiful print outcomes that emphasised the new artwork’s three-dimensionality and alluded to Guinness’ craft heritage. Extensive print tests were carried out, trialing various sequences of layering the separate elements and combining a variety of inks and finishing techniques.
