Wilton’s Music Hall foundation stone


A quote taken from the poem inscribed on Wilton’s foundation stone (which was laid by John Wilton’s wife Ellen in 1858) which dedicates the music hall to Apollo, the Greek god of music and poetic inspiration. The print also features illustrations of Wilton’s distinctive corkscrew columns.

New North Press donates 10% of the proceeds of each print sold to Wilton’s Music Hall Trust.

Set and printed by hand on Japanese hosho.
Limited edition of 50. Size roughly 500 x 500mm.
